CPU2 DIMM status LEDs

The DIMM status LEDs help you to determine if there are any memory module errors.

Status

Description

Action

Solid off

The memory modules are operating at a
normal temperature.

Solid on (amber)

When a DIMM status LED is lit in amber, it
indicates that the corresponding memory
module is overheated.

Check the BMC for errors and run the
diagnostic programs. See “Using a
diagnostic program” on page 204
.

Ambient temperature limit LED

The ambient temperature limit LED helps you to determine if the server is running at a normal temperature.

Status

Description

Action

Solid off

The server is running at a normal
temperature.

Solid on (amber)

The ambient temperature is below 7°C
(44.6°F) or over 40°C (104°F).

Check the BMC for errors and run the
diagnostic programs. See “Using a
diagnostic program” on page
204.
