Turning Off the Auto Guide Lamp

Use this setting to turn off the lamp that tells you when the camera is in auto

mode.
1. From the recording menu (

p.34), select [AUTO GUIDE LAMP].

Use the jog dial to select [AUTO GUIDE LAMP] and then press the OK
( ) button.

2. Select [OFF].

Use the jog dial to select [OFF] and then press the OK ( ) button.

Changing the LCD Brightness

This feature allows you to adjust the LCD brightness to suit the conditions

you are shooting in. Making the LCD brighter makes it easier to see when

you are outdoors or in other brightly lit situations.

ON:

The auto guide lamp lights when the camera is in auto mode.

OFF:

The auto guide lamp does not light when the camera is in auto

mode.

MEMO

The still auto guide lamp setting is retained even if you switch to auto

mode. You can also change this setting.

ATTENTION

If you reduce the LCD brightness and then move to a bright location,

there may appear to be no image on the LCD monitor.
