Setting the Video Quality

1. From the recording menu (

p.34), select [VIDEO QUALITY].

Use the jog dial to select [VIDEO QUALITY] and then press the OK ( )

button.

2. Select the video quality.

Use the jog dial to select the video quality and then press the OK ( )

button.
XQ:

Extra-high quality (1920 × 1080)

HQ:

High quality (1440 × 1080)

SP:

Standard play (1440 × 1080)

Because the amount of data used varies depending on the subject being

recorded, the recording durations listed below are approximate and may

vary.

* 1GB = 1 billion bytes. The actual formatted capacity may be lower than the

figure shown here.

the image quality and the amount of space available on the drive.
The video quality setting is retained if you switch to Auto mode. You can

also change the setting.
