x.v.Color

This function can be used to allow videos shot on this camera to be played
on video equipment that supports the “x.v.Color” standard. (

p.156)

1. From the recording menu (

p.34), select [x.v.Color].

Use the jog dial to select [x.v.Color] and then press the OK ( ) button.

2. Select [ON].

Use the jog dial to select [ON] and then press the OK ( ) button.
ON:

x.v.Color is enabled.

OFF:

x.v.Color is disabled.

Raising the ISO Sensitivity

This is an effective way to increase the camera’s sensitivity when you are

shooting.
When you are shooting in dark locations or anywhere flash use is

forbidden, it is a good idea to increase the sensitivity.

1. From the recording menu (

p.34), select [RAISE SENSITIVITY].

Use the jog dial to select [RAISE SENSITIVITY] and then press the OK
( ) button.

Setting the camera to auto mode selects [OFF] as the x.v.Color setting.

ATTENTION

Shooting at higher sensitivities may increase the amount of noise in

your images.
