The next setting parameter for recording a
triggered measurement curve is Pre/post
trigger.

After starting a triggered

measurement curve the HMG begins to
record the measured values for the recording
time set (e.g. 30 seconds). If the trigger
event does not occur during this time, the
oldest measured values are replaced with
new measured values in the measured value
memory. This means that you always have
the set recording time as the "past" in the
measured value memory.

The Pre/post trigger option enables you to
specify how much of this "past" is to remain
in memory when the event occurs and how
much "future" you would like to record after
the event.

A Pre/post trigger setting of 50 / 50%
means that for a recording time of 30 s the
"oldest 15 s" are discarded, 15 s remain
before the occurrence of the event, and
recording is done for another 15 s after the
trigger event occurs.

Finally, the Automatic measurement option
enables you to select whether you only want
to perform one measurement (setting:
Automatic measurement — Deactivated

)

or whether another measurement curve
using the same settings is to be recorded
(Automatic measurement — Activated

).

For a Simple triggered measurement,
select the Deactivated automatic
measurement option.
