6.5 Technical Specifications


Sensor Inputs


The HMG features:

• 4 sensor input jacks (channel A – H) for up to 8 analog sensors,

or up to 4 SMART sensors

• 1 input jack with 2 digital inputs (channel I - J) and

a voltage input of -10 V to + 10 V (shown at channel H)

Connecting the sensors is done using an standard M12x1 plug connector (5 pin).

Channel A to H:

• Automatic detection for HSI sensors (pressure, temperature, volumetric flow

rate transmitters and SMART sensors)

• Connection of standard sensors with current or voltage signals
• Differential channels for channel A - B; channel C - D; Differential channel for

flow rate measurement orifice (shown at channel B)


Channel I and J:

• Frequency channels (speed (rpm) measurement, counting function)

Frequency range: 1 – 30,000 Hz
