8. USB Audio Class:

You can select the type of USB Descriptor class here:

● UF1 – USB Full Speed Mode (12Mbits), USB Audio Class 1.0, Sample rates up to 96kHz;

● UH1 – USB High Speed Mode (480Mbits), USB Audio Class 1.0, Sample rates up to

192kHz;

● UH2 - USB High Speed Mode (480Mbits), USB Audio Class 2.0, Sample rates up to 384kHz

(only for Mac OS X and Linux Ubuntu).

You can also do this by following the steps below:

● While on standby mode (device turned off), press preset button 3 and while holding it press

the power button.

● Press preset button 3 to select the desired USB mode.

● Press any other preset button to turn on the device.

NOTE: As of Jan. 2012, the only OS that supports USB Audio Class 2.0 is MAC OSX. For more

information, visit the support pages of www.antelopeaudio.com.

9. Firmware Update:

By clicking here, the software control panel will take you to the Firmware Update Panel from where

you can update your Eclipse 384 with the latest version of the software.

1. Open the Software Control Panel application and go to the preferences tab (gears icon on

the upper left corner). If there is a new firmware version available, the button will turn red.

2. Click on the Firmware Update button.

3. You will be transferred to the Eclipse 384 Update Panel, which will now give you the option

to update the Eclipse 384 device firmware.

4. The Eclipse 384 device’s LED bar graphs on the front panel will indicate “LOADER”.

5. If there is a new firmware version you will be able to see it in the ‘View newer updates’. If

not, your device is up to date. (If you want to ‘roll back’ to a previous version of the firmware,

simply click on the ‘View all updates’ option and select the version that you wish to ‘roll

back’ to.

6. Click on the Update button on the bottom of the Update Panel.

7. The Update Panel will start updating the device and you will be able to see the steps while

the process takes place.
