Problem 13: Toner stain or shadow in the background.

Solution: 1) Check if the cartridge has been properly installed.

2) The toner cartridge may be defective.

Replace with a new one.

3) The drum cartridge may be defective.

Replace with a new one.

4) Toner is in the paper path. Contact Customer Support Center.

Problem 14: Poorer quality when thick or rough paper is used.

Solution: Change paper type to Thick. (

Tray 2 Troubleshooting

Problem 1: Printer does not operate properly or stops while printing after Tray 2 was added.

Solution: A. Switch off the printer. Wait 10 seconds before turning it back on.

If the problem persists, check if the tray 2 is properly connected to the printer.

B. Check if you have made proper settings in the printer driver to use Tray 2.

Problem 1: How can I get updated versions of the printer driver or related utilities?
