Product Classification

Troubleshooting

Symptom

Possible cause

Solution

- Too easy or too difficult to tilt the monitor up
and down

- Excessively loosened or tightened hardware.
- Weight of the monitor is not compatible with
the arm

Please see “MONITOR TILT” section of the
manual (See Pg 29 ) or use an arm with a
compatible weight rating

- Too easy or too difficult to utilize the portrait
landscape feature

- Damaged hardware.

Please contact Amico Accessories.

- Too easy or too difficult to rotate the monitor
at the head left and right

- Excessively loosened or tightened hardware.
- Damaged hardware.

Please see “ROTATION (Monitor Head)” section
of the manual (See Pg 29)

- The entire IT station is rocking slightly when
in use.

- Loosened/ damaged hardware

Perform preventive maintenance. Check all
screws are secured, or please contact Amico
Accessories.

- The monitor head is not secure, it is
wobbling or loose when using the portrait
landscape adjustment

- Damaged head

Monitor head needs to be replaced. Please
contact Amico Accessories.

- AHM arm moves up and down with difficulty,
DO NOT FORCE

- Height locking lever is not released

Loosen the height locking lever (See Pg 25)

- Popping sound when moving the AHM arm
up and down

- Damaged gas bracket

Please contact Amico Accessories

- Length of the extension arm is at an angle
- Extension arm is not secure or it is rocking
slightly

- Damaged extension arm
- Weight of the monitor exceeds the load
rating

Please contact Amico Accessories

- AHM arm lifts up too rapidly w/o the
monitor.
- AHM arm is too difficult to maneuver w/ the
monitor.
- AHM arm falls to the lowest position on its
own w/ monitor.

- Counterbalance is not adjusted properly for
devices
- Height locking lever is not tightened
properly

Tighten Height Locking Lever (See Pg 25)
Please see “counterbalance” section of the
manual(See pg 26)

- Oil is leaking from the gas spring, light
yellow in colour

- Damaged gas spring

Gas spring needs to be replaced. Please
contact Amico Accessories.

- Irregular swiveling or rotation of keyboard
- Swivel post rotation is difficult

- Excessively loosened or tightened hardware.
- Damaged hardware.

- Excessive Gapping or angling at joints of arm - Damaged Hardware

- Equipment is too heavy
- Physical Damage

Check device mounted for weight
compatibility. If problem persists contact
Amico Accessories

- Keyboard tray does not go up and/or cannot
stay up.

- Loosened/ damaged hardware

Check for damage at the hinge of the
keyboard tray, or contact Amico Accessories.

- IT station slides down to the bottom of the
channel unprovoked.

- Damaged Rail
- Damaged Adapter

Ensure all set screws securing the adapter to
the rail are tight. Check rail and adapter for
damage, and replace as necessary.

- Squeaks when rotating parts of the IT station - Lack of Grease

Add clear grease to working joints

- Monitor drifts down/AHM drifts down

- Damaged or incorrect Gas spring in AHM/
Swivel post
