to use for this pause condition. In the Limit Type field, click the arrow, and then select whether you want

to use the upper or lower limit. In the Limit field, type the limit that you want to use for the pause

condition. In the Pause Time field, type the number of minutes you want the system to pause when this

condition is activated.

• To set up an event switch pause condition, click the Enabled check box at the right end of the Event Switch

Pause heading. In the field on the left, click the arrow, and then select the event switch device that you

want to use for this start condition. In the Limit Type field, click the arrow, and then select whether you

want the program to start when the switch is open or closed. In the Pause Time field, type the number of

minutes you want the system to pause when this condition is activated.

• To set up a temperature sensor pause condition, click the Enabled check box at the right end of the

Temperature Pause heading. In the field on the left, click the arrow, and then select the temperature

sensor that you want to use for this start condition. In the Limit Type field, click the arrow, and then select

whether you want to use the upper or lower limit. In the Limit field, type the temperature that you want

to use for the pause condition. In the Pause Time field, type the number of minutes you want the system

to pause when this condition is activated.

Zone Settings

Expand the Zone section, and then perform any of the following tasks:

• To change the run time for a zone, type a new number in the Run Time field for that zone.
• To change the seasonal adjustment percentage for all the zones in the program, type a number in the field

in the header row.

• To set up soak cycles for zones, type a number in Cycle field to indicate how many cycles the zone will

have. Type a number in the Soak field to indicate how long the soak time will be.

• To assign a primary zone, find the row for the zone that you want to be primary. In the Primary field, type

the number of the zone that you are configuring as the primary. Click the arrow in the Moisture field, and

then select the soil moisture sensor that is associated with that zone. Click the arrow in the Strategy field,

and then select whether you want to use the upper or lower limit. In the Limit field, type the moisture

limit.

• To link other zones to the primary zone, type the number of the primary zone in the Primary field for all

linked zones.

• To add a zone, click the Add Zone button. Click the drop-down arrow in the box in the Zone column. From

the list, select the zone that you want to add. Click the Save button on the end of the program row. After

the screen refreshes, click the Edit Program button on the program row and complete the settings for the

new zone.

Mainline and Booster Pump Assignments

Expand the Main Lines section, and then perform any of the following tasks:

• To assign a mainline, click the arrow in the Main Lines field, and then select the mainline that you want to

assign to this program.

• To assign a booster pump, click the Add Booster Pump button. Click the arrow in the Booster Pumps field,

and then select the booster pump that you want to assign to this program.

9. Click the Save button on the end of the program row.
