a. From the list under the All tab on the left side of the map, click the site. The controllers assigned to that
site are listed below the site name.
b. Click the controller that you want to work with. A blue arrow displays next to the controller that is
selected.
2. In the main BaseManager interface, position the cursor on the Maps tab, and then click Current Controller.
The map displays the controller’s location.
3. Click the Configure Map button at the upper-left corner of the map.
4. Click the Change Map View icon at the upper-right corner of the map. The icon changes to show
that the map is now unlocked.
5. Zoom the map to the desired view. You can also move the map to a new position.
6. Click the Save Changes button to save the new the map view.

Adding Icons to the Map
After your devices are assigned in the controller, the company admin can add icons that represent those devices
onto the map.
1. In the main BaseManager interface, select the site and controller that you want to add icons to the map for.
a. From the list under the All tab on the left side of the map, click the site. The controllers assigned to that
site are listed below the site name.
b. Click the controller that you want to work with. A blue arrow displays next to the controller that is
selected.
2. Position the cursor on the Maps tab, and then click Current Controller.
3. Click the Configure Map button at the upper-left corner of the map. The
Map Configuration menu displays on the left side of the map.
4. Save a new map view, if necessary. Refer to Saving a Map View .
5. Click the type of device that you want to add to the map. The category
opens and shows a list of devices that can be added to the map.
6. Click one of the devices in the list. The entry is highlighted in yellow to
show that it is selected.
7. Position the cursor on the map where you want the icon to be located.
Click and release the left mouse button.
8. Repeat steps 5 – 7 until you have added the icons for all your devices.
9. Click the Save Changes button. When the icons to display in the new map
view, you will notice that they show a color to indicate their status. Click
the Color Codes button in the upper-right corner of the BaseManager page
to display the legend for the colors.
