Device user settings

Date/time setting

Sets the current date and time.

Specifying the Basic Settings for Faxing

Date display format

Sets the format of dates displayed on the LCD and printed on sent faxes, copies, and photo.

Specifying the Basic Settings for Faxing

Three date formats are available; YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYY, and DD/MM/YYYY.

Summer time setting

Enables/disables the summer time setting. If you select ON, you can select additional sub-settings.
This setting may not be available depending on the country or region of purchase.

Start date/time
Sets the date and time that summer time starts.

Month: Specify the month.
Week: Specify the week.
Dow: Specify the day of the week.

Set shift time: Specify the hour (24-hour clock).
End date/time
Sets the date and time that summer time ends.

Month: Specify the month.
Week: Specify the week.
Dow: Specify the day of the week.

Set shift time: Specify the hour (24-hour clock).

Read/write attribute

Selects whether to allow data to be written onto memory cards from a computer.

If you set this setting to Writable from USB PC or Writable from LAN PC, you cannot print photos

on a memory card using the Operation Panel of the machine. After you finish operation of the
memory card dedicated drive, be sure to set it back to Not writable from PC. When you turn off
the machine, Writable from USB PC or Writable from LAN PC will be canceled and the setting
is returned to Not writable from PC when you turn on the machine next time.

Volume control

Selects the volume.

Keypad volume
Selects the beep volume when pressing the buttons on the Operation Panel.
Alarm volume
Selects the alarm volume.

Country select

Selects the country where you are using the machine.
