STX = 0x02

Start of text

STA = “N”

Status - N represents NET weight

SGN = 0x20 or “-”

Sign – space = pos, minus sign = negative

PAYLOAD

Weight – next 7 characters are weight in ASCII

UNITS = “ kg”

Units

ETX = 0x03

End of text
