The ribbon sensor values

have changed, or the

printer detects no or only

sporadic ribbon supply hub
movement.

Try the following:

1) Ensure that ribbon is correctly loaded

and that the printhead assembly is
latched.

2) Check the ribbon supply and ribbon take

up hubs for obstructions that may be

stopping movement.

3) Ensure that the ribbon core fits snugly

on the ribbon supply hub.

4) Ensure that the media and paper

combination is not slipping (usually

caused by an incorrect match).

The printer has shutdown to
allow the printhead

temperature to cool.

Turn ‘Off’ the printer until cool to prevent
permanent damage due to an excessive

printhead temperature.
