Adjusting the antenna
FM/SW: 0
Pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust its
length and angle for optimum reception.
LW/MW: B
The sensitive ferrite core antenna inside the
set will provide excellent LW/MW reception in
most areas. For optimum reception, turn the
set in the direction which gives the best results
since the ferrite core antenna is directional.
■ To set the MW Frequency Step
B
The MW frequency step switch is in the battery
compartment.
Set to 10 K for North America and 9 K for other
areas.
■ External antenna B
Use an external antenna for optimum recep­
tion. Connect the antenna to the external an­
tenna adaptor and plug the adaptor into the
AM EXT ANT jack.

Die empfindliche Ferritkernantenne In diesem Gerät
sorgt in den meisten Gebieten für einen ausgezeich­
neten LW/MW-Empfang. Für optimale Empfangs­
qualität das Gerät in die Richtung drehen, die den
besten Empfang ermöglicht :
■ Einstellung des MW-Frequenzra-
sters B
Der WIW-Frequenzrasferschalter befindet sich im In­
neren des Batteriefachs. S
In Nordamerika wird ein Frequenzraster von 10 K
verwendet, in anderen Ländern 9 K.
■ Außenantenne B
Für optimale Empfangsqualität empfiehlt sich der Ge­
brauch einer Außenantenne. Diese Antenne an den
Außenantennenadapter anschließen und den Adap­
ter in die Buchse AM EXT ANT stecken.
