After subsequent display of all of
the special functions shown in fig. 5
the display will return to the cycle
of measurement shown in figure 4.

To be able to change one of the
special functions again you have to
wait until the unit has switched off.
Then restart the procedure.

6.1 Changing the Holdtime

If no other buttons are pressed
within a selectable holtime, the unit
switches off automatically (the
holdtime can be set to 15, 30 or
40 seconds). This feature helps to
conserve the battery.

When switching the unit on the next
time, the last selected measure-
ment mode is activated again. If
applicable, measured values
recorded in STATISTIC are
retained.

To change the holdtime, insert the
unit into the protective holder
according to fig. 9, and switch the
unit on using the mode button. By
pressing the mode button several
times, skip over the calibration and
measurements routines until the
display HOLDTIME appears.

Press the operate button repeated-
ly until the desired holdtime is
displayed.

Confirm by pressing the mode
button and skip over the routines
until the measurement modes
appear.
