6.4 Change Date and Time

The instrument contains an
integrated clock, so that the date
and time of the measurement are
available in addition to the
measured value. This may be
useful for printing purposes, for
example.

In STATISTIC mode, the time and
date are also stored in memory.

To set the internal clock, insert the
instrument into the protective hol-
der and switch it on with the mode
button. Press the mode button
repeatedly to skip over the
calibration until the display
CHANGE DATE / TIME appears
(fig. 8).

Press the operate button to display
the date. The first digit is indicated
by an arrow:

• You can press the operate

button to cycle through the diffe-
rent values for the selected digit.

• Press the mode button to

confirm the desired value for the
selected digit, and the arrow will
jump to the next digit.

When the last digit has been
confirmed, the time will be
displayed. The time can be
changed in the same manner as
the date.

When the last digit has been
changed, the new data will appear
in the display. This new data can
be accepted with the mode button
or discarded with the operate
button (in cases of input errors, for
example).
