DTS-ES ON/OFF setting mode
(VSX-D810S/D810S-G only)
This setting allows you to hear
surround back channels on DTS discs
regardless of whether the disc itself is a
5.1 Ch disc or a 6.1 Ch disc. Naturally
you need to hook up SURROUND
BACK speakers (see p. 22-25) and set
them properly (see below on this
page) in order to hear surround back
channels. If you choose ON you will
hear surround back channels with DTS
discs. If you choose OFF you will not.
Choose DTS-ES ON or OFF
by using the A or V buttons.
Modo de configuración DTS-
ES ON/OFF (sólo VSX-D810S/
D810S-G)
Este valor le permite escuchar los
canales posteriores surround de un
disco DTS sin que importe si el disco
en sí es un disco de 5.1 canales o de
6.1 canales. Obviamente, deberá
conectar sus altavoces posteriores con
surround (véase la pg. 22-25) y
ajústelos de la manera adecuada
(consulte la sección correspondiente
de esta misma página) para poder
escuchar los canales posteriores
surround. Si elige ON, oirá los
canales posteriores surround con los
discos DTS. Ahora bien, si elige OFF,
no los oirá.

MEMO:
• If you choose none for the surround
back speakers setting later on this
page you won’t be able to select ON
here.
• You’ll only get surround back
channel sound when the receiver
is in STANDARD mode (see p. 54,
59), DTS-ES is set to ON and the
disc is a 5.1 channel disc.
MEMO:
