MPX mode
If there is interference or noise during
a FM radio broadcast, or the radio
reception is weak, press the MPX
button to switch the receiver into
mono reception mode. This should
improve the sound quality and allow
you to enjoy the broadcast.
Channel Step Setting
(multi-voltage model
only)
The unit has been factory preset to
the channel allocation value for the
area in which it is to be sold. If this
value is set incorrectly, the tunes in
frequency may be wrong, or sound
may be distorted, resulting in an
inability to reproduce reception
signals at their proper sound quality.
For this reason, be sure to confirm
that the values are set correctly before
first using the unit.
FM 100 kHz, AM 10 kHz:
Set to this position for areas with an
FM reception step of 100 kHz and
AM 10 kHz.
FM 50 kHz, AM 9 kHz:
Set to this position, for areas with an
FM reception step of 50 kHz and AM
9 kHz.
NOTE:
When unsure about the channel
allocation for your area, consult your
dealer for correct information.
To Change Channel Steps
With the power turned OFF, hold the
STANDBY/ON button depressed
while pressing the BAND button on
front panel to turn the power ON.
• Each time the above operation is
performed, the channel tuning
step will alternate between FM 100
kHz/AM 10 kHz, and FM 50 kHz/
AM 9 kHz.

El aparato fue preparado en fábrica
para un valor de distribución de
canales correspondiente a la región en
la que será vendido. Si este valor está
mal ajustado, las sintonías de las
frecuencias pueden estar equivocadas,
el sonido puede escucharse
distorsionado, no pudiendo
reproducirse las señales recibidas en
su calidad de sonido correcta. Por
esta razón, confirme que los valores
se han ajustado correctamente antes
de utilizar el aparato por primera vez.
FM 100 kHz, AM 10 kHz:
Ajuste en esta posición para regiones
que tengan intervalos de recepción de
FM de 100 kHz y AM de 10 kHz.
FM 50 kHz, AM 9 kHz:
Ajuste en esta posición, para regiones
que tengan intervalos de recepción de
FM de 50 kHz y AM de 9 kHz.
NOTA:
Cuando no esté seguro de la
distribución de canales de su región,
consulte con su concesionario para
obtener la información correcta.
Para cambiar los intervalos
entre canales
Con el aparato desconectado en OFF,
mantenga presionado el botón
STANDBY/ON mientras presiona el
botón BAND en el panel delantero
para conectarlo a ON.
• Cada vez que se realiza el
procedimiento anterior, el
intervalo de sintonización de
canales cambiará entre FM 100
kHz/AM 10 kHz y FM 50 kHz/AM
9 kHz.
