Dual mono setting
The dual mono setting can only be
used when listening to Dolby Digital
discs that have dual mono software
encoded in them. As of now these are
not that widely used. With this setting
you can choose which channel in the
dual mono setting you want to listen
to. Thus, it is useful for soundtracks
that have one language on one
channel and a different language on
the other. Remember you can only
use this setting if you have Dolby
Digital software with this feature and
want to isolate one of the channels
therein.
There are two different ways to route
the sound in the dual mono setting,
one is with Dolby Digital mode on,
the other with Dolby Digital mode
off. If Dolby Digital mode is switched
on, the ch1 setting will play channel
1 through your center speaker. The
ch2 setting will play channel 2
through your center speaker. With
Dolby Digital mode off, the dual
mono sound routing is as follows: In
the ch1 setting your will hear channel
1 out of both front speakers. In the
ch2 setting you will hear channel 2
out of both speakers. In the L. c1 R.
c2
setting the speakers will play the
soundtrack independently of each
other. The left front speaker will play
channel 1 and the right front speaker
will play channel 2.
Press A or V to cycle
through the possible DUAL
MONO settings.

La configuración del sonido
monoaural dual sólo puede utilizarse
cuando se escuchen discos Dolby
Digital que tengan incorporada la
codificación de software monoaural
dual. En la actualidad, estos discos
todavía no se han popularizado
demasiado. Con este valor puede
elegir qué canal de los monoaurales
duales desea escuchar. Por ello resulta
útil para bandas sonoras que tienen
un idioma en un canal y otro idioma
en el otro canal. Recuerde que sólo
puede utilizar este modo si tiene el
software Dolby Digital con esta
característica y quiere aislar uno de
los canales.
Hay dos modos de enrutar el sonido
en la configuración de sonido
monoaural dual: uno es con el modo
Dolby Digital activado y el otro con el
modo Dolby Digital desactivado. Si el
modo Dolby Digital está activado,
elegir ch1 reproducirá por el altavoz
central el canal 1. Elegir ch2
reproducirá por el altavoz central el
canal 2. Con el modo Dolby Digital
desactivado el sonido monoaural dual
se enruta de la manera siguiente:
eligiendo el'chl se oirá el canal 1 por
ambos altavoces frontales. Elegir ch2
hará que se oiga el canal 2 por ambos
altavoces. En los valores L. c1 R. c2,
los altavoces reproducirán las bandas
sonoras independientemente los unos
de los otros. El altavoz frontal
izquierdo reproducirá el canal 1 y el
altavoz frontal derecho reproducirá el
canal 2.
Pulse A o V para pasar por
todos los posibles valores del
modo de configuración del
sonido monoaural dual.
