Set a monthly data limit notification

You can be notified when you reach your monthly data limit, or when you reach a certain percentage of your monthly data
limit.

1.

On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap

Settings > App Manager > Device Monitor.

Tap

> Data Usage Settings.

4.

In the Mobile Data Limit field, type your monthly data limit in megabytes.

5.

Move the Early Data Limit Notification slider to receive an early notification when you are approaching your monthly

data limit.

6.

To change when your monthly data usage cycle starts each month, in the Monthly Reset Date drop-down list, tap a

date.

Troubleshooting: Mobile network
I can't connect to the mobile network

Try the following solutions:

• Check that airplane mode is off. If airplane mode is on, the option to turn on the mobile network is unavailable. To turn

off airplane mode, on the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap

Settings. Turn off the Airplane

Mode switch.

• Check that the connection to the wireless network is on. To check your connection, on the home screen, swipe down

from the top of the screen. Tap

Settings > Networks and Connections > Mobile Network. Check that the Mobile

Network switch is on.

• Check that your BlackBerry device is connected to your wireless service provider's network. If you switched wireless

networks manually, your device remains connected to that wireless network until you select your wireless service
provider's network again.

• If your device uses a SIM card, verify that it is correctly inserted into your device.
• If your device normally connects to a CDMA network and your device supports international roaming, check that your

device is in roaming mode and that your SIM card is correctly inserted into your device.

Wi-Fi connections

A Wi-Fi network connection is one way to get data services on your BlackBerry device, but unlike using the mobile network,

using Wi-Fi doesn't add charges to your data plan. Your device is designed to try to use saved Wi-Fi networks before it tries
