A serial remote display may be connected to a serial output of the
XC880A to provide a larger display of the current weight present on the scale.
No special hardware or programming is required to implement this option.
Simply connect the display to one of the available serial ports, and set the port
parameters to match those of the remote scoreboard display. See section 7 for
port setup details.
10.5 Remote Check-Weigher Display
The 9-pin female set point output connector at the back of the XC880A
can be connected to a Sterling Model 10 remote LED indicator for check
weighing applications. This display will mimic the small LED check weigher on
the front panel.
The Model 10 comes from the factory with a 9-pin male connector, which
you simply plug into the output connector. The set points are configured as
described in section 6.1.
