Proper service and repair is im portant to the safe, econom icai and reliabie operation
of ali recreationai vehicie and industrial m obile generators. Troubleshooting, testing
and servicing procedures recom m ended by Generac and described in this m anual are
effective m ethods of perform ing such operations. Som e of these operations or proce
dures m ay require the use of specialized equipm ent. Such equipm ent should be used
w hen and as recom m ended.
It is im portant to note that the m anual contains various DANGER, CAUTION and
NOTE blocks. These should be read carefully in order to m inim ize the risk of personal
injury or to prevent im proper m ethods or practices from being used w hich could dam age
equipm ent or render it unsafe. These DANGER, CAUTION and NOTE blocks are not
exhaustive. Generac could not possibly know , evaluate and advise the recreational
vehicle trade of all conceivable w ays in w hich operations described in this m anual m ight
be accom plished, or the possible hazardous consequences of each w ay. Consequently,
Generac has not taken any such broad evaluation. Accordingly, anyone w ho uses any
troubleshooting, testing or service procedure that is not recom m ended by Generac m ust
first satisfy him self that neither his nor the equipm ent’s safety w ill be jeopardized by the
procedure or m ethod he selects.
