2 Quickly press and release (tap once) the ARC switch to select the second cartridge.

If the first cycle is still in effect, the CID may look like this: The first cartridge is still energized, but the second
cartridge is now selected. Pressing the ARC switch and advancing the cartridge selection before the first cycle
ends makes the X3 ECD able to engage a second threat more quickly.
