Load the Smart Cartridges
WARNING
Never place your hands or fingers in front of the cartridge. When loading and unloading, always hold the
cartridge on the sides or top.
Smart Cartridges are shipped with a shipping cover in place. Remove these covers before attempting to load a
cartridge into an X3 ECD. See the "Remove the Shipping Cover from the Smart Cartridge" section in this manual
for more information.
Always treat your X3 ECD as if it were loaded. Also, be aware that it is more difficult to tell whether an X3 ECD is
loaded than it is with previous-generation TASER ECDs.
