Although you can use a Warning Arc display when the ECD is unloaded, it is recommended that you always
arc display with the cartridges installed. This ensures a consistent display and reduces wear on the ECD’s
components.
WARNING
Use the ARC switch, not the trigger switch, to employ the Warning Arc display.
Electrodes
The front of the X3 ECD has six metal electrodes. The electrodes provide the ability to use the X3 in a “drive-stun”
mode as a traditional stun gun-type ECD.
