Receiving System Exclusive Data

You are not required to activate a special receive mode of
the Blofeld in order to receive system exclusive data
through MIDI or USB. However, there are a few things
you should check before you transmit system exclusive
data to the Blofeld:

• Make sure none of the Blofeld’s programs is in Edit

mode. The edit buffers might be cleared or
overridden depending on the type of dump that is
sent to the Blofeld.

• Check out the parameter Device ID. Data

transmission will only be executed successfully if if
the sender and receiver settings match.
