11. Troubleshooting
Fault description Possible cause Required measures
Temperature
Set-point temperature is not
reached after specified time.
Unit door not properly closed. Completely close unit door.
Door gasket defective.
Replace door gasket,
Controller not adjusted, or
adjustment interval exceeded. Calibrate and adjust controller.
Wrong voltage.
Check power supply for voltage of
115V or 230V.
The fan doesn’t turn or turns too
slowly.
Fan speed set too low Set the fan speed to 100%.
Fan defective. Contact BINDER service.
Chamber heating permanently,
set-point not held.
Controller defective.
Contact BINDER service. Pt 100 sensor defective.
Semiconductor relay defective
Controller not adjusted, or

Chamber doesn’t heat up.
Red heating control light in the
