The unit bracket can be secured directly
to the inside of the windscreen or to the
dashboard.

2Q WKH ZLQGVFUHHQ
If the dashboard is too far away from
the driver, the unit bracket can be
fitted irectly to the windscreen using the
suction mechanism.

If the adapter plate (4) is already se-
cured at the foot (5), remove this.
To do this, press the lever (3) up and
pull the adapter plate (4) down and
out.

Release the lever (3).

X

Find a suitable position.

X

Press the lever (3) and again and press
the suction face of the foot (5) against
the windscreen.

X

Rotate the unit bracket so that the sup-
port plate is roughly in the direction of
viewing required.

X

Release the lever (3).

The bracket will have stuck firmly to the
windscreen. It can now be set precisely.
To remove, actuate the lever (3) again.

2Q WKH GDVKERDUG
An adapter plate is provided for mount-
ing on the dashboard. This is stuck on to
the dashboard. The mounting face may
only be slightly curved.

Find a suitable position.

Remove the protective film from the
bottom contact surface of the adapter
(4).

X

Press the adapter (4) on to the dash-
board.

X

Take the unit bracket, press the lever
(3) and place the suction surface of the
foot (5) into the top contact surface of
the adapter (4).

Rotate the unit bracket so that the sup-
port plate is roughly in the direction of
viewing required.

X

Release the lever (3).

The bracket will have stuck firmly to the
adapter. It can now be set precisely.
To remove, actuate the lever (3) again.

Mount the unit bracket such that this
and the fitted Traffic Assist do not re-
strict your view and are not in the func-
tional area of the airbag.
Ensure that the electrical connection
cable does not hamper you from access-
ing the vehicle’s controls.
Also ensure that there is enough space
to easily slide the Traffic Assist back
out of the bracket.
Clean the mounting area on the wind-
screen or dashboard so that it is clean
and free of grease. Do not use smearing,
soapy cleaning agents, otherwise this
may affect how it sticks to the dash-
board.

If the adapter plate is removed, you may
find residue from the glue on your dash-
board.
