When AHCI mode is selected in the SATA Mode Selection, it will display the following

information:

Smart Response Technology

This field is used to enable or disable the Smart Response Technology.

Port 0/1/2/4/5

Enable or disable the Serial ATA port 0/1/2/4/5.

Hot Plug

Designate the Serial ATA port 0/1/2/4/5 as Hot Pluggable.

SATA Device Type

Identify the Serial ATA port is connected to Solid State Drive or Hard Disk Drive.

When RAID mode is selected in the SATA Mode Selection, it will display the following

information:
