Troubleshooting and customer service
Fault numbers appear in the
controller display if your heating
system malfunctions.
There are three types of reports:
1. Info:
Information and descriptions
"Display" heat generation.
2. W 051
Warning: Maintenance required
"Maintenance"
3. Info 055
Information: Heat pump
lock "WP lock"
The meanings of the displayed
error codes can be taken from the
table on the next page.
The system should be restarted
after the fault has been corrected
=> RESET.
RESET : Brief shut-off or the equip-
ment (mains switch). Controller
starts again, configures itself again
and continues to work with the
already set values (fault mes-
sages for defective sensors may no
longer appear => corresponding
functions may be deactivated).
RESET of settings:
Overwriting settings with standard
values can be carried out separate-
ly at the "Service level" for the
"user" and "specialist" param-
eters and the "time programme"
respectively.
General troubleshooting information
If the system does not operate cor-
rectly, first check the cabling in the
controller and controller components.
Sensor
At the level "General/ Service/
Sensor test", all sensors can be
checked. All of the connected
sensors have to appear here with
plausible measured values.
Actuators (mixers, pumps => only
with code number)
At the level "General/ Service/
Sensor test", all actuators can be
checked. All relays can be switched
individually at this level. This
enables the correct connection of
these components (e.g. direction
of rotation of the mixers) to be
easily checked.
BUS - connection
In controllers with connection to
mixers => display of the com-
munication icon in the standard
display (depending on the design "
" or "v") or under "Service/com-
munication MM 1“ WE control-
ler => display of the outdoor and
WE temperature (see "Displays/
system") or in the boiler control if
connected to the controller => dis-
play of the room temperature and
hiding of the current room target
temperature "----" (see "Displays/
heating circuit") in the mixer ex-
pansion controller if connected to
the boiler controller => display of
the outdoor and WE temperature
(see "Displays/system") controller
=> display of the room tempera-
ture and the hiding of the current
room target temperature "----"
