SAFETY INFORMATION
Parking
NOTE: When leaving the machine unattended make sure to remove the ignition
key and lock the steering lock.
WARNING: The engine and exhaust pipes may be hot. Park the machine
in an area where children aren’t likely to touch these hot areas.
WARNING: The machine may fall over if parked on uneven and/or soft
ground. Make sure to park your machine on level, firm surfaces. Be particularly
careful when parking on black top especially in summer. The more asphalt warms,
the softer it gets and when asphalt gets soft, the side stand will sink into the pave-
ment, causing the bike to fall. Avoid this by placing a small (6″ x 6″ x 1/4″) board
under the foot of the stand.
WARNING: Do not park the machine near flammable sources or open flame.
