PRE-RIDE INSPECTION

Tires

To ensure maximum performance, long service and safe operation, note the fol-

lowing:

Tire Air Pressure

D

Should be checked and ad-

justed before operating the

motorcycle and also when a

passenger or luggage is car-

ried. Refer to the tire pressure

chart on the following page to

determine what tire pressures

should be used for different

loads and riding conditions.

Tire Inspection

D

Should be performed before

operating the motorcycle. If a

tire tread shows crosswise

lines (minimum thread depth),

if the tire has a foreign object,

or if the sidewall is cracked,

contact a Victory dealer and

have the tire replaced. Using

a tread depth gauge (1), mea-

sure the tread of the tires. You

should have at least 1/16″

(1.6 mm) of tread.

WARNING: It is danger-

ous to ride with a worn out tire.

When a tire has less than 1/16″

(1.6 mm) of tread, have a Victory

dealer replace the tire immedi-

ately. Brakes, tires, and related

wheel parts replacement should

be performed by a Victory Ser-

vice Technician.

NOTE: The Victory motorcycle is equipped with tube tires and laced wheels.
