SAVE MACRO 1

This option lets you save your current Level 1 settings as a macro
and recall them anytime. When you press , the display shows:
Select a macro number for your setting by pressing or Then
press to save the current SelecType Level 1 settings into the
macro. Next use the POWERON MACRO option described later in
this section to choose the same number as chosen in SAVE MACRO.
Then the settings you have chosen are in effect each time you turn
the printer on.
Press at any time to exit this submenu without saving a macro.
Avoid using the same macro number in different channels,
especially if you connect the printer to more than one computer and
if you use the same printer emulation mode for more than one
channel. For example, changes in the Channel P macro 1 setting may
affect the Channel S macro 1 setting.
