Changing the Play Sequence (Program Play)

You can create your own program for playing tracks on a music CD or chapters and titles on
a DVD.

1. When the CD or DVD is stopped, press

until you see

PRGM

in the display window.

2. Set the toggle switch on the remote control to the

-123

position.

3. Use the numeric buttons to set the program order (up to 99

chapters, titles, or tracks).

4. Press

to begin playing your programmed sequence.

5. Set the toggle switch on the remote control back to the

Func.-

position.

To cancel individual items on the program screen, press

.

To cancel the program, press

.

To resume normal playback, press

repeatedly until the display window returns to

normal. The program remains in memory, and you can play it again by pressing

again and selecting

PRGM

.

Playing at Random

You can select random play for tracks on a music CD or chapters and titles on a DVD.

1. When the CD or DVD is stopped, press

repeatedly until you see

RANDOM

in the

display window.

2. Press

to begin playing tracks at random.

To resume normal playback, press

repeatedly until the display window returns to

normal.

Random play is also canceled when you open the tray or switch off the power.
