7. Configure the Card for Network Operation.
You can use the installation and
configuration software on the HP JetDirect
CD-ROM.
Refer to Chapter 4.
For many HP printers, you can use the
printer’s control panel to configure basic
network parameters.
Refer to the “HP JetDirect EIO Control Panel
Menu” section in this chapter.
If the JetDirect card has been
configured with an IP address,
you can use a supported Web
Browser for advanced
configuration.
Use the IP address as the URL. For

Web Server, see the
HP JetDirect
Administrator’s Guide (600N/400N/
500X/300X)
on the HP JetDirect CD-
ROM.
