OVERCASTING STITCHES
Using the overcasting foot
Using the standard foot
1. Change the presser foot to the overcasting foot (E).
2. Sew the fabric with the fabric edge against the guide of the overcasting foot.
Attention: The overcasting foot should be used to sew with patterns and only. Do not
set the stitch width narrower than “5.0”. It is possible for the needle to hit the presser foot
and break when sewing other patterns or using another width.
1. Change the presser foot to the standard foot (T) .
2. Overcast along the edge of the fabric so that the needle drops over the edge of the fabric on
the right side.
