6. Buttonholes are sewn from the front of the
presser foot to the back, as shown.
7. Raise the presser foot and cut the thread.
To sew the buttonhole once again, raise
the presser foot and it will return to original
position. When you have fi nished sewing
buttonholes, push the buttonhole lever up
until it stops.
8. Cut the center of the buttonhole being
careful not to cut any stitches on either
side. Use a pin as a stopper at the bartack
so you do not cut too much.
