Remove the scanner from the printer.

CAUTION
Removing the scanner without first
unplugging the printer may damage your
printer and scanner. The printer must
also be unplugged before reinstalling the
scanner on the printer.
1 Rotate the scanner so the top is
facing toward the ground.
2 Gently shake the scanner until the
original falls out the top.
