ATTENTION
• To use the above OCR function, ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap 3.0 must
be installed on your computer.
• Scanned document images are opened with Microsoft

Word, Microsoft

Excel, or Microsoft

PowerPoint when Microsoft

Word, Microsoft

Excel
and/or Microsoft ® PowerPoint is installed.
When any of them is not installed, scanned document images are simply
saved to file.
* You cannot view the documents converted into Word/Excel/PowerPoint
files unless Microsoft ® Word/Microsoft ® Excel/Microsoft ® PowerPoint is
installed or you have completed user registration to use these
applications. Install the above applications and complete user
registration to view the converted documents on your computer.
• ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap can be used with the following versions
of Microsoft
® Word, Microsoft ® Excel, and/or Microsoft ® PowerPoint.

• If this action is executed while the Print or Search function is being
performed in Microsoft

an error message, for example, "Call is rejected by callee," is sent. Do not
perform this action and the functions of Microsoft

Word, Microsoft
®
Excel,
or Microsoft
®
PowerPoint at the same time.
