PDF / XPS Direct Printing
You can print PDF files and XPS files without opening them in an application such as
Adobe Reader.
Note
To use XPS direct printing, the optional “PCL 5e/6 print option” is required. •
To use PDF direct printing, the optional “PCL 5e/6 print option” and “PostScript •
Enabler” are required.
XPS direct printing can only be used with Windows Vista or later . •
You cannot print encrypted PDF files with PDF direct printing. •
An optional “PostScript Memory” is required to print PDF files that include •
JPEG2000 format images.
Printing
Drag-and-drop the file you want to print to the “Muratec MFX-25xx PDF

Printing” (or “Muratec MFX-25xx XPS Printing”) shortcut icon on the desktop.
The “Muratec MFX-25xx XPS Direct Print Application” (or “Muratec MFX-25xx XPS Direct
Print Application”) screen is displayed.
Name of document being printed
Status
Progress of document being printed
You can click [Cancel] to cancel printing.
If you are printing multiple documents, not only the document being printed, but all
documents waiting to be printed are also canceled.
For multiple documents
Name of document being printed
Status
Progress of document being printed
Progress of all documents to print
When the printing finishes, click [Close].
