port speed is independent of modem data rate.)

(Serial port speed is same as modem data rate.)

Carrier Detect Control

&C0 Force Carrier Detect on.

*** &C1 Let Carrier Detect follow carrier signal.

&C2 Let Carrier Detect drop for time set by S24 on

disconnect, then go high again.

&D1 When DTR drops, the modem hangs up. While

DTR is low, the modem accepts commands but
will not dial or auto-answer until DTR goes high
again.

resets as if an ATZ or an AT&F command was
issued.
