Reporting Printer Usage
Each printer has a usage meter:
v
In simplex mode:
The usage meter counts only the feet of forms that are
processed while printing takes place.
v
In duplex mode:
The usage meter in each printer counts feet of forms anytime
paper is moved through the printers.
The meter advances one position for every 30.48 meters (100 feet) of forms that are
processed through the transfer station. The meter reading is used for customer
billing.
Note:
The counts that are shown on these printer usage meters may not match the
counts shown in “Printer 1 Counter” and “Printer 2 Counter” areas on the
Printer Status
window on the Display Touch Screen.
Do this task on the last working day of each month.
You need an IBM Printer Usage Sheet to report printer usage. See Figure 28 on
