BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
This chapter contains basic information that should be read before using the machine.
PART NAMES AND FUNCTIONS
Document feeder cover (when the SPF/RSPF is
installed) /document cover (when the document
cover is installed)
Open to make copies from the document glass.

Place an original that you wish to scan face down

Use to move the machine.
Power switch

Paper output tray

Front cover
Open to remove paper misfeeds and perform

Paper trays

Side cover handle

Bypass tray guides

Bypass tray
