To change a parameter in the REC MODE menu:
1. Move the cursor to the desired item parameter by
pressing the or button.
2. Select the desired parameter by pressing the or
button.
3. Press the SET UP/ESC button to return to the MAIN
menu, if desired.
● Video Pixels (Resolution) Setup
This item lets you select the pixel number (number of
horizontal x vertical picture elements) or resolution of
the video picture.
1. Move the cursor to the VIDEO PIXEL parameter in
the REC MODE menu by pressing the or
button.
2. Select the desired mode by pressing the or
button.
720 * 480/3DIM ON: High resolution none-blur
picture.
720 * 480/3DIM OFF: High resolution picture
720 * 240: Lower resolution, but higher number
of frames.
The default setting is 720 * 480/3DIM ON.
The parameter is fixed at 720 * 240 when the CAM-
ERA INPUT parameter in the VIDEO INPUT menu is
set to A (CAMERA ID ON).
● Video Quality (Compression Rate) Setup
This item lets you set the quality of the video picture by
selecting a compression rate.
1. Move the cursor to the VIDEO QUALITY parameter
in the REC MODE menu by pressing the or
button.
2. Select the desired mode by pressing the or
button.
FINE: For enhanced sharpness
NORMAL: For normal picture quality
ROUGH: For lower picture quality
The default setting is FINE.
● Audio Recording Setup
This item lets you enable or disable audio recording.
Audio recording is available depending on the selected
recording mode as shown below.

Audio recording is disabled in Multi Shot and Time
Lapse Recording mode when the CAMERA INPUT para-
meter in the VIDEO INPUT menu is set to A+B.
1. Move the cursor to the AUDIO RECORD parameter
in the REC MODE menu by pressing the or
button.
2. Select either ON or OFF by pressing the or
button.
ON: Enables audio recording.
OFF: Disables audio recording.
The default setting is ON.
● Capture Mode Setup
This item lets you select the mode for recording on the
disc.
1. Move the cursor to the CAPTURE MODE parameter
in the REC MODE menu by pressing the or
button.
2. Select the desired mode by pressing the or
button.
SINGLE SHOT: For Single Shot recording.
MULTI SHOT * : For Multi Shot recording.
TIME LAPSE * : For Time Lapse recording.
The default setting is SINGLE SHOT.
