Move the cursor to SEARCH/PLAY in the MAIN menu by
pressing the

button, then press the SET but-

ton. The SEARCH/PLAY menu shown below appears on
the monitor screen.

SEARCH/PLAY menu:

1. Move the cursor to the desired parameter by press-

ing

the or button.

2. Select the mode by pressing the

button.

3. Press the

SET UP/ESC

button to return to the previ-

ous MAIN menu, if desired.

Search Display Setup

This item lets you select the initial search window. You
can have record numbers displayed either in descend-
ing or ascending order.

1. Move the cursor to the ON FIRST RECORD parame-

ter in the SEARCH/PLAY menu by pressing the
or button.

2. Select either NEW or OLD by pressing the

or

button.

NEW:

Record numbers displayed in descending
order, starting with the newest one.

OLD:

Record numbers displayed in ascending
order, starting with the oldest one.

The default setting is NEW.

Skip Records Setup

This item lets you select the number of records skipped
each time the Advance Record (

) or Reverse

Record (

) button is pressed during playback.

1. Move the cursor to the SKIP # RECORDS parameter

in the SEARCH/PLAY menu by pressing the

or

button.

2. Select the number of records quantity to be skipped

as shown below by pressing the

or

button.

The default setting is 40 RECORDS.

Search Data Setup

This item lets you select the data to be used in Direct
Search.

1. Move the cursor to the SEARCH DATA parameter in

the SEARCH/PLAY menu by pressing the

or

button.

4. To edit the selected program, press the

SET

button

to move the cursor to the selected program editing
area.

5. Move the cursor to the position to be edited by

pressing

the , , or button.

6. Select the desired time by pressing the (+) or (–)

button.

7. To apply the programmed recording patterns, press

the

SET UP/ESC

button to move the cursor to the

day parameter.

8. Repeat procedure 3 to program other days of the

week.

9. To apply the programmed recording patterns, press

the

SET UP/ESC

button to return to the previous

ALARM RECORD menu.

SEARCH / PLAY Menu

This menu allows you to change the Search (Find) and
Playback settings.
