SD Memory Cards
Issue Possible Cause & Solution Reference
I cannot record to the SD
memory card. • The SD memory card is not compatible with the unit.
→ Make sure that you are using a compatible SD memory
card. (SDHC, miniSDHC, and microSDHC memory cards
are not compatible with the unit.)

• The SD memory card is not formatted or was not formatted
properly.
→ Format SD memory cards for use with this unit in FAT
format (FAT16) using a computer.

• The SD memory card was not inserted properly.
→ Make sure that the SD memory card is inserted properly by
gently pushing it securely but gently toward the back of the
SD memory card slot.

Phonebook
Issue Possible Cause & Solution Reference
I cannot add or edit entries
to the phonebook. • You are on a call or playing back recordings.
→ You cannot add or edit phonebook entries while on a call or
while playing back recordings. —
• The "Operation Mode" setting is not correct.
→ Change the setting to "Peer to Peer" if you want to add
or edit peer to peer IP call entries (i.e., entries stored by
specifying the called party's IP address).
→ Change the setting to "IP-PBX" if you want to add or edit
IP call entries that will be called when using the unit as a
SIP extension of the connected PBX.

• A call is being received.
→ The unit exits the phonebook automatically when a call is
received. Add or edit the phonebook entry again once you
have finished the call.

• There are 100 entries in the phonebook.
→ The phonebook is full. Erase any unnecessary entries.
