Add a user account under Windows 2000 Professional
<Start> <Setup> <Control Panel> Double-click <Users &
Passwords>

Click the <Add> button. 2
Click the <Next> button after typing
the user ID, the full name, and the
explanation, You must type the
same name when you log on. You do
not need to type
the full name and explanation.

Enter your password and click the
<Next> button. If no password is
set, anyone can logon and view
and change your personal
information and settings. Be sure
to set a password. 4
You can set a password for a user account or change the password
of a password-protected account. Double-click <Control Panel>
<User Accounts and Password>, select a user account and click the
<Set Password> button to set or change a password.
Note
Click the <Finish> button after setting the user group. Please select
the user group after reading each group’s detailed explanation. 5
