3. Plug one end of the handset cable into the handset. Then plug the
other end of the handset cable into the socket located on the front of
the cradle. Place the handset in the cradle.
4. Insert the supplied telephone cable into the socket located on the
back of the cradle.
5. Feed the telephone cable from the back of the cradle through the
cable run located on the back of the fax machine.
6. Insert the other end of the telephone cable into TEL1 or TEL2
sockets on the back of the fax machine.
Connecting external telephone or answering machine
1. Insert one end of the telephone cable into the TEL terminal on the
back of the machine.
2. Insert the other end of the telephone cable into the socket in your
external device.
Note 1:
To connect both an answering machine and a
telephone, first connect your answering machine to
your fax machine, then insert the cable of your
external telephone into the telephone socket on your
answering machine.
