5. Original Mode
You can select the most appropriate image processing mode (= original mode) for your original from the
following 3 modes.
[TEXT/PHOTO]: Original with text and photographs (default setting at installation)
[TEXT]: Original with text only (or text and line art only)
[PHOTO]: Original with photographs only
1 Place paper in the drawer(s).
2 Place the original(s).
3 Press the original mode button on the basic menu.
4 Select and press the button for the most appropriate original mode
for your original.
• Set other copy modes as required.
5 Press the [START] button.
